Bioactive Decor Pack Instructions

 

Always make sure the enclosure is clean and safe to begin with.

 

Open the hydro rocks and place a layer at the bottom of your enclosure 1-2 cm deep.

[These retain moisture and release humidity slowly]

 

Pick up the black membrane fabric and place it opened on top of the Hydro Rocks.

[This creates a barrier between the substrate and rocks]

 

Open your bag of substrate and place it on top of the membrane, this layer can be as deep as you would like, deeper if live plants are added.

 

Next, unwrap your terrarium plant, gently remove its pot being careful of any roots.

Create a hole in the substrate and gently place the plant into it, making sure to firmly pat around the plant once in position.[Water the plant]

 

Find the tub of springtails, these guys jump so only open it once you are inside the enclosure.

[Empty the contents inside the enclosure, the substrate contains springtail eggs too!]

 

After those steps it is now a case of adding the orchid Bark and lichen moss, you can use as much or as little as you prefer.

 

Seed heads, natural seed pods and vine to your aesthetic taste.
